I, as a fashion designer, am very interested in psychological phenomenons and the ground structures of social behavior. Picking apart who we mirror and who we can become.Our memory and recollections are important for us in all facets of live, starting with our personal development, moving to collective connections up to forming new cultures. Memories are the basic foundation to allow self-reflection and constant changes in the way we define us as human beings. To reflect this I am using epochal symbolic silhouettes and turn them into a future-oriented interpretation which plays with the traditional gender roles. At the same time I focus my attention on what we will leave behind in the context of textile technology and fashion. It is not only about establishing shapes, but also to ensure versatile and sustainable handling of the potential remains and the ecological footprint humans leave behind. Materials which I use have textile certifications which ensure the entire value-creations chain for textile products is considered in a socially and environmentally sustainable way in the production process.
